For earphone makers who struggle to add intuitive controls on their tiny devices, Wisear builds the biosensing solution that reads your brain and facial activity based on top-notch AI algorithms
Current Status
Two months ago we secured our first PoC deal for 150,000$ with a large wireless earphone maker. And we reached close to 450,000$ in funding. Our focus for 2021 is to deliver this first PoC & convert it into a licensing contract.
Market
Our top target is the True Wirelss Earphones market, worth $16Bn in revenue in 2020. But our technology is robust enough to be used in any kind of earphones, especially walkie-talkie & VR. Each of those are markets worth $8Bn and $1.5Bn respectively
Problem or Opportunity
Over the past 30 years, we have attempted to make human - machine interface as effortless as possible From the first computers to the latest voice assistant & smart watches, we've made some progress but we're still limited What if you could control your device without even touching it, almost magically? What if this technology could be integrated in a device as small and universal as earphones?
Solution (product or service)
Wisear enables people to finally get seamless, voiceless & touchless control of their devices. To do so, we license our neuronal biosensing solution to earphone makers We use tiny electrodes to record your brain & facial activity. Then our patent-pending AI technology transforms these signals in intuitive controls that lets you take actions like answering a call or playing the music
Competitors
Brain-wearable headphone makers already exist but they focus on building their own devices (eg: Enophone, Emotiv) On the other hand, a lot of B2B biosensing solutions have been developed over the past decade but they all focus on heart activity alone (eg: Valencell, Firstbeat, LifeQ) This approach has proven to be successful. Earphone and wearable makers such as Bose, Jabra and Huawei already license such solutions in their earphones.
Advantages or differentiators
We are uniquely able to license the first hardware-agnostic brain-wearable solution that fits in any earphones.
Business model
Our business model is simple: we license our technology to clients and receive 20% of incremental margin they generate We also charge them an annual maintenance fee.
