Launched v. 1 of app 4 weeks ago and more than 5.000 women have already downloaded and tried on a beauty treatment in our app.
Current Status
First version of our augmented reality beauty app was launched 4 weeks ago and we've already gained +5.000 downloads, from women who wanted to "try out" beauty treatments in 3D in our app. We're welcoming 200 new users on a daily basis - mostly through organic growth and from PR initiatives.
Market
Our market is global and mostly based on females at the age of 20 - 50 years old with an interest in beauty and fashion.
Problem or Opportunity
More and more women get cosmetic treatments, but there's no way for them to "try on" beauty treatments, before buying. The results is that women have no clue what a beauty treatment will look like on their face, before it's actually done. And in this particular field, you would very much like to know what it looks like, before actually doing it.
Solution (product or service)
We're creating a cutting-edge 3D platform where women can try on cosmetic treatments on their own face, and bring the before/after renderings to their aesthetic doctor/nurse to improve their decision making and expectation alignment process - and in the end; make smarter decisions when it comes to cosmetic treatments.
We're also developing partnerships with beauty providers and clinics, who wants to advertise towards our user base in the app.
Competitors
There's no similar solution to ours at the moment.
But other platforms with some of the same mechanisms have had great success in offering separately, what we offer in one solution:
- Booksy (booking platform for beauty treatments) + 5.000.000 users world wide - Facetune (face editing for social media) +100.000.000 users world wide - Treatwell (booking platform for beauty treatments) - Faceapp (face editing for social media)
Advantages or differentiators
We offer in one solution, what others offer separately. We're addressing the needs of finding the right beauty provider for consumer's needs and at the same time letting them "try on" beauty treatments on their own face - through a one-of-a-kind tech stack.
