Idea

Medex3D is a “hospital solution in a box” that provides a high-quality 3D printer, a mobile platform with library of useful medical products and devices for printing in the hospital, clinic or healthcare facility including a degree of managed services. It can assist healthcare workers fighting the COVID-19 pandemic with PPE incl. 3D printed masks, visors etc without any knowledge of 3D printing. We have also added content from orthopaedics, prosthetics, training, medical assistive devices and water & sanitation.

Current Status

Pre-seed

The founders have already invested over $165 000 on developing the mobile application - currently used in the education space with a number of schools and households (called Why Toyz). This platform has been repurposed for healthcare and integrated into industrial grade 3D printer (can be integrated into any 3D printer anywhere).
