Idea

THE MISHKA wants to enable over 750,000 designers and non-tech freelancers to create AR. Creators now pay over $100/mo for AR tools. THE MISHKA offers it $20/mo to create and host AR. THE MISHKA automates repetitive tasks, that are required to create AR: (1) building an AR scene, (2) adding a target-image, (3) building a mobile app.

Current Status

We launched a beta version on March 10. THE MISHKA mobile app is available on Google Play. We got our first trial users.

Market

First of all, we target designers who cannot create an AR experience. There are over 750,000 designers in the US only and over 10M in the world. No-code guys like them can't start with AR, because they don't have tools.

But we aim not only designers. Marketers, media companies and general people can also create AR for content creating and sharing.

The AR market volume was $10.7B in 2019. It includes both software and hardware parts. It is growing with a CAGR of 46.6% and can get $72.2B in 2024. THE MIHSKA can take up to 0.5% - 1% of it assuming, that we can substitute a part of development process, made by developer studios.

Problem or Opportunity

In AR app development there are repetitive tasks that involve programming. AR app development can be laid out as 3 steps: (1) creating an image to place AR on, or a target, (2) adding AR content, such as 3D
models, and (3) building an AR app itself. The Mishka integrates these steps into one simple and code-free solution.
There are tools that primarily able to operate on these steps separately. You can create a target in Vuforia, then export it into Unity, which does AR content adding, and you still have to build an AR app on your own. Unity is a game development solution and is being misused for AR apps building.
As a result, it is heavy, not user-friendly, and demand major programming skills, as well as Vuforia and other SDKs.

Solution (product or service)

THE MISHKA makes a web tool to create AR content with no code.

In our web app, a user can choose an image to place AR on, and then add elements, such as a 3D model, a video, or a button.

In THE MISHKA mobile app, a user can store and show created AR.

Competitors

ADOBE and HP make mobile-based in-app AR processing tools. 3D designers might use them to show their models instantly. That is not an option for sharing or exporting AR, though.

ZAPPAR and AUGMANIA make AR creating tools for the enterprise. ZAPPAR costs $8K/year and AUGMANIA $2K/year.

People can also show 3D models in SKETCHFAB, a marketplace for 3D models. It is w/out creating more complicated AR or using a target-image.

Advantages or differentiators

THE MISHKA is a product where supply creates demand. For instance, in public transportation when people get affordable transport, they switch to it. Users will switch to THE MISHKA from heavy code-demanding alternatives as they would to a cheap bus.

Finance

We charge from $20/mo to create and host AR. When we have 2.000 B2C paying users, we get to $50.000 of MRR.

Business model

We have a subscription business model. Prices start from $20/mo to $150/mo.

We can also get B2B partners with $100.000 contracts each. Our B2B partner will be able to distribute or resell our service or use it as a part of their business.
