The size of the DRAM market exceeds $80+ billion per year, about 90% of which is split between three companies. The global DRAM market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 28.7% from 2018–2023 (Market Research Future 2023 forecast report).

CPUs went through a huge evolution in previous decades, but memory uses the same basic architecture. This creates the Von Neumann bottleneck effect, which means that the CPU is demanding data on a much faster rate than the memory is able to provide.

Blueshift Memory is a semiconductor company that addresses the von Neumann bottleneck in high-performance computing. Our proprietary chip design is optimised for large data sets and time-critical data, with a memory access speed up to 1000 times faster.

Samsung, SK Hynix, Micron, Rambus: there are no similar R&D activities. We already have patent applications in progress.UpMem, GraphCore: their solution is "processing in memory", which could be faster with BSM
