gC Regulator Platform allow Country Regulator/Ministry to manage the entire Oil & Gas Sector GHG emission.
gC Industry Digital platform is ready. First 2 deployment project is under progress for deployment in Q2 2020. These are partially funded by Customers. On success, we will be able to recover all cost from Scale-Up deployment.
Due to Global Warming and UN pressure, there is a good demand of GHG reduction/management solutions. Our Digital Platform is first of it's kind that scales up for the entire Oil & Gas Sector.
gC Regulator Digital Platform will become ready in Q2 2020. Due to lack of fund, we have delayed this and focusing on paid product of gC Industry.
Primary target is 20 countries which produces 45% of Global Oil & Gas. Also target are the 5 countries that emit largest amount of GHG. Overall SOM is 50 countries.
Total estimated deployment no is more than 10000 by 5 years.
Problem or Opportunity
Carbon Tax of 40$ per tonne of CO2e is going to impact the Oil & Gas Industry (Fossil Fuel) the hardest as over 17% of global GHG emission happen from this Industry Sector.
In last 10 years, Industrial GHG emission did not reduce as expected and desired. If this continue, it is unlikely to achieve SDG (UN Sustainable Development Goal related to Global Warming).
Solution (product or service)
gC Industry Digital Platform consist of patented method that quantify GHG from each release source in realtime. This breakthrough technique allow us to provide the analytics and data that will enable Industry partners to reduce GHG emission by 10-30% every year (estimate). Depending on the plant size, it will translate into 5-10 million$ saving.
gC Regulator Digital Platform aggregate all the Company GHG emission (fed by gC Industry Platform) for the entire Country. Benchmarking, improvement and reporting will become integrated and transparent. Regulators will be able to demonstrate systematic GHG reduction from the Oil & Gas Sector.
Platforms can be expanded for other Sectors in future (Steel, Power, etc.).
After 2 years, in the same platform Carbon Credict & Carbon Trading features will be added - which will demonstrate $$ saving directly.
We do not have any direct copetitors. Except a few Developed world Countries, such infrastructure and tools are not available. We are the first commercially availabe sector application that can fill in the gap.
Advantages or differentiators
We can provide realistic GHG quantification method based on Plant Operation. No other solution can mimic Operations and Operational Activities that we can do.
Alternate method is using Satellite to estimate GHG, which has the following disadvantages
1. Use generic HC gas from flare to estimate GHG
2. Affected by cloud cover, relative humidity and other environmental situations
3. Rely on Night time illumination to represent flaring activity (not entire day) when Satellite is passing by the location.
Our method is agnostic to weather conditions and the limitations of Satellite technique.
Self finance to develop Minimum Viable Products.
First deployment is 90% cost recovery from Customer. More than 5 Customers are interested in deploying.
gC Industry Platform - fully paid model by Customer. Annual License and Maintenance contracts will fetch steady incomer every year.
gC Regulator Platform - we provide free of cost to Ministry. Ministry will need to pay for Annual maintenance/upgrade fees.
