Over 1/3 of businesses owners recognize that video is essential to marketing, yet it's only utilized by a handful due to it's cost and complexity. In addition, video represents more than 80% of internet traffic. CATAPULT makes it easy and affordable for any business to launch branded video with our patent-pending technology.

Current Status

We've launched our product and delivered $80k in revenue for our initial pilot. Now looking to scale our efforts and continue to build upon our patent-pending technology platform.

Market

Digital Video is projected to grow from 14B in 2018 to over $23B by 2021, yet only represents 20% of online advertising. Most surprising when 82% of internet traffic will be video based by 2021.

To start we identified businesses who rely on sports such as sports bars, ticketing, and gambling companies which represents 20% of advertising spend.

Problem or Opportunity

We saw an opportunity to create a video platform where businesses can launch branded content. Through our backgrounds, we knew that not all businesses had the resources and expertise to participate. However over 32% of business owners recognize branded content was the key to their online marketing efforts.

We also knew that in order to bring folks into our business, we would first need to attract them with our content. That’s why we have both the technology and the content creation.

To get started, sports content proved to be a major pain point for businesses. The pace of sports which changes on a daily basis and leaves most content irrelevant after a few days make it's impossible for most to invest in. If we could bring the costs down and the production value up, sports bars, ticketing sites, gambling, daily fantasy would be able to harness audiences like never before.

Solution (product or service)

CATAPULT offers businesses affordable high-quality branded video for online marketing. They can use CATAPULT to procure, brand, and distribute premium video online to attract customers. And through the platform, they will learn what content motivates buyers.

Competitors

Companies like Animoto, Promo.com and offer SMBs the ability to piece together their own videos through a collection of stock videos. Video Elephant allows anyone to license high-quality video, but restricts it’s usage and ability to brand. Through our experience, we have yet to find a direct competitor.

CATAPULT provides a full solution to access high-quality video content and easily and affordably deliver to our partners channels, automatically.

Business model

We charge a monthly fee based on the number of videos they utilize and if they want to add media support and guarantee more viewership.

Two models exist for brick and mortar, as well as DTC brands.

Money will be spent on

Seeking $350,000 to be spent on further development of our patent-pending technology ($150k), acquisition of premium video content ($100k), and acquisition of new customers ($100k).
