Idea

Our platform allows game developers to integrate their products into the blockchain and participate in an open gaming ecosystem.

Current Status

We've built large parts of the platform and are ready to launch with a working product within the next quarter. We've assembled a team of AAA game executives and developers as well as worked on several high visibility partnerships that will help us make a large impact in the gaming industry.

Market

We reach a large market in terms of game developers, entrepreneurs and gamers. We address the 2.3 billion gamers who spend $137.8 billion on games across the world. The developers we target are anywhere from small startups to large AAA game studios.

Problem or Opportunity

We believe blockchain technology to be the next evolutionary step in gaming's evolution. Developers are having a tough time entering the market with new products and this is largely due to a) platforms taking too large a share of revenues b) large developers dominating the scene and c) a lack of new business models to take advantage of.

Solution (product or service)

Our platforms allows developers to build more engaging products that give them new opportunities to interact and monetise users. Blockchain creates a sense of openness and trust never seen before in the gaming industry. With the Gamedaq platform, developers also have the opportunity to take advantage of our e-sports platform and licensing which creates endless possibilities.

In a nutshell, Gamedaq is there to make games fun again.

Competitors

We have competitors but none that are as open as we are. Steam and Origin would be considered competitors but due to them not being open and utilising blockchain we don't see them as a direct threat. Enjin, Gamecredits, Dmarkt would be more direct competitors but they seem to be focused on creating markets for virtual goods and not building a comprehensive open gaming platform like we are doing.

Advantages or differentiators

The team of ex-EA, Disney and Gameloft professionals is a huge advantage for us. We also are able to legally offer real-money betting on e-sports due to our agreement with the Canadian government. This is something no other blockchain platform is able to offer and may ever be able to offer. This creates a lock in effect to our platform like no one has seen so far in the industry.

Finance

We are looking to raise $19USD which we use to launch our operations. Our business model is based on several factors and we believe we'll be able to get to a break-even point within three years and generating $24m/year within that period.

Business model

Our business model is threefold:
- Transactional fees from the platform participants.
- Our cryptocurrency increasing in value.
- Our games incubator/publishing program giving us margins from the games we invest in.

Money will be spent on

Our funds will be spent on developing the platform and marketing it to game producers and gamers.

Offer for investor

We offer through our ICO the chance to buy our tokens at a heavily discounted rate. We are currently in pre-sale and offering the opportunity for individual buyers or groups to join us in our mission of building the dominant open gaming platform.

Risks

The first risk is around development timelines which we need to meet. The second risk is either developer or gamer adoption which will need to be met in order to get the proper activity on the platform.
