Problem or Opportunity
E2G FOOD is solving the problem of global hunger by bridging the gap between humanitarian aid and consumer markets. Despite $212B in donor aid in 2024, millions remain undernourished. Our solution links retail demand with impact: every bar sold funds one for communities in need. By tapping into high-growth markets like the UK’s £1.5B weight-loss sector, we create a scalable, transparent, and sustainable nutrition system powered by spirulina.
Solution (product or service)
TrackYourImpact, our donation app, enables individuals and organisations to fund E2G FOOD bars for emergency response and feeding programmes, whilst tracking aid from donation to the end community. The Impact Bar, a retail protein bar with a give-back link to E2G’s malnutrition work, will tap into the UK’s £1.5B weight loss market and expand to the USA by 2026. Together, these innovations aim to deliver 24m bars annually by 2030.
Business model
E2G FOOD produces spirulina-fortified bars to fight malnutrition, sold commercially and via institutional offtake or donor sponsorship. Local spirulina farms provide enterprise, education and nutrition to communities. The Track Your Impact app gives donors real-time visibility, boosting trust and recurring support. Revenue comes aid contracts, individual donors, and CSR partnerships, soon to be retail sales. ROI stems from scalable bar production, predictable contracts, and growing brand equity, blending strong financial potential with measurable humanitarian impact.
