Dreamsense helps exhausted parents solve baby sleep issues with a mobile app that offers personalized, expert coaching from an AI agent trained by a leading co-founding paediatric sleep consultant.
Current Status
Currently, our services are available exclusively in Hungary, our home country. Our product suite includes several offerings: a personalized sleep plan, video courses, online coaching, and a community. We acquire about 100 new customers monthly.
The personalized sleep plan is a proven product with a 1% refund rate, and we've sold nearly a thousand of them in the last 12 months. This sleep plan will be available in English starting October 2025. Amie, our AI coach, is a work in progress and is scheduled to launch in January 2026.
Problem or Opportunity
Over 30% of parents report that their children have sleep problems and they all suffer from sleep deprivation. This does not only affect their well-being, but also has negative impacts on their health, mental health, relationships, and professional productivity.
At present parents can search online, read books or purchase online video courses about baby sleep, which are cheap but generic: they do not offer personalized advice. Sleep consultants do, but they are expensive with costs often starting at $500 and reaching thousands of dollars.
Solution (product or service)
The Dreamsense mobile app is an AI-powered baby sleep coaching platform. First, parents fill out a questionnaire about their baby’s sleep and get access to a personalized sleep plan generated by our algorithm. The sleep plan is a step-by-step guide to improving their baby’s sleep and a tangible output that instantly generates value.
Afterwards parents get access to Amie: an AI coach trained on the proprietary content of our cofounder, who is a leading baby sleep consultant. Amie provides 24/7 coaching and support, answering questions in real-time and helping parents troubleshoot issues.
Business model
Our model combines an upfront setup fee for the personalized sleep plan ($97) with a low-cost monthly subscription for continuous coaching ($27).
Our approach to making AI profitable is strategic. The initial sleep plan, created by our algorithm using a parent-filled questionnaire, justifies the setup fee. This not only provides immediate value to the customer but also significantly reduces our AI processing costs. We further manage expenses by capping AI usage, ensuring we avoid runaway costs from super-users while still providing ample support.
