Social startups aim to provide jobs for individuals with disabilities and those facing violence. One initiative trains people with visual impairments to become skilled massage therapists.
Current Status
In the process of looking for finding. The idea is ready.
Problem or Opportunity
This initiative addresses two key issues:
It reduces poverty by training and employing people with disabilities, offering financial independence to those facing violence and discrimination through shelter and work.
It breaks societal taboos e.g. around massage, making it accessible to all. In Uzbekistan, there’s a significant market gap for massage services, especially for women, as cultural norms discourage them. This initiative addresses the issue, normalizing the practice and unlocking untapped potential.
Solution (product or service)
We will select disadvantaged groups in society and identify solutions to train and create workspaces for them. For example, the first solution will train people with visual impairments and establish massage salons, promoting the concept of halal massage that is safe for wives and beneficial to society.

Business model
Once trained, we will sign contracts with all trainees and employ them in the small salons we create. Additionally, we will invest the funds to train more people and expand to small towns across the country. We will also work on selling merchandise and beauty products to visitors.
