Current Status
The hydration assessment tests are disclosed in a provisional patent application registered at the USPTO. We are currently selecting hydration marker candidates through research of scientific and medical literature.
Problem or Opportunity
People are living longer and with longevity comes an increased risk of chronic diseases, such as dementia, diabetes, heart failure, stroke and kidney disease. A recent NIH study showed that chronic disease development is associated with chronic underhydration. The problem is that chronic underhydration is difficult to measure due to limitations of the current hydration assessment methods.

We are building a groundbreaking hydration level test that measures chronic underhydration accurately in real time thereby slowing down the aging process and preventing age-dependent chronic diseases.
Competitors
There are no direct competitors. The current hydration assessment methods include urine test strips for specific gravity analysis and blood tests for serum sodium and blood osmolality.
