Wealth Management clients want regular information about their portfolios. Digipal's AI-solution makes easy-to-read portfolio communication scalable, personalized and effortless.
Current Status
We started showcasing a working prototype in early 2021. The first version of our enterprise-ready platform came out in the summer of 2021, shortly thereafter signing the first client in early 2022. We are currently onboarding a large reputable private bank.
Problem or Opportunity
Research shows that clients want concise, reassuring updates on their investment progress, rather than number-heavy reports. Clients often feel they are left alone and that the fees they pay aren’t justified by the ongoing ‘client care’. Further, the perceived boundaries between retail banking and private banking are blurring – not just in terms of the products and services, but also the channels for information, advice and support. With increasing customization and more clients to be served, client advisers themselves struggle to identify the right talking points in client meetings.
Solution (product or service)
With the help of Digipal, banks, Wealth Managers and Asset Managers can provide all their clients with proactive and regular information about their investments. The solution is fully scalable, fast and easy to deploy. The comments generated are personalised to the respective customer portfolio, which brings corresponding additional benefits for the customer. Many leading banks strive to bring premium services to lower segments, such as the ‘affluent’ segment. They find serving the larger number of clients a key challenge and seek a solution without the need to scale up costs proportionately.
Business model
Our business model is B2B (2C). We provide our services in a white-labelled fashion, empowering wealth managers to perform the best possible communication job vis-à-vis their end-clients. Digipal’s output system provides B2B partners with reports in their own corporate design. The platform which is a SaaS (Software as a service) is accessed through an API.
