Idea

We are unleashing insurance brokers full potential. With our platform brokers can streamline their operations and provide unparalleled service to clients allowing them to grow their business.

Current Status

Initiative launched in May 2023, by allowing brokers to pre-register; at the moment we have c. 200 brokers in Portugal on the waiting list, 64 of which have participated on a 1-to-1 demo of the platform; we have pre-selected 50, and are onboarding 10 a week at the moment.

Problem or Opportunity

70% of insurance policies are sold via tradicional insurance brokers. However brokers are facing increased challenges due to 1) insurance companies are focusing on bigger accounts providing less support to small-medium sized brokers; 2) customers want immediate answers and streamlined quote and subscriptions processes; 3) increased competitiveness from digital propositions; 4) short offer and costly tech solutions that support efficiency and automate most of the non valuable tasks

Solution (product or service)

Our tech platform provides brokers access to a large portfolio of products and of insurance companies, to a suite of digital tools and solutions. Through automation and intuitive digital interfaces, we are removing all the burden of manual and administrative tasks, allowing brokers to focus on building client relationships and delivering expert advice. With features such as digital policy management, automated quoting and policy subscription and intelligent cross-sell tools, brokers can streamline their operations and provide unparalleled service to customers focusing on growing their business

Business model

Mudey receives a monthly fee for the use of the tech platform by each broker; we also receive a variable broker commission amount per new policy sold and renewed policies.
