I want to support my local community and school in the way of fresh produce and food sustainably grown everyday.
Current Status
Trying to fined local location to set up.
Land here available.
Market
This project is for all age ranges and anyone who is interested in a organic sustainable way of life
Problem or Opportunity
Land is being sold all around for property development tho i see more value in the soil than things being built ontop of it. I see value in growing a sustainable organic farm tjat can produce fresh organic produce for the local community and school.
Solution (product or service)
I feel that this project will support the local community and school by providing
Fresh organic food that is super nutritious and healthy.
Competitors
There is no farm in this village or any other close by currently doing what i am setting out to do, so there is 0 competitors.
Advantages or differentiators
The huge advantage is that there is no competition here. We have the opertunity to be a landmark operation and to set a example to other farmers that this can be achieved.
Finance
Revenue from the business will be that in the way of produce sold from the shop, all harvested from the farm daily and there will of corse we further revenue streams in the way of group visits to the site, training days, aswell as bringing in experienced farners to do talks and presentations on how important holistic land management is.
Business model
To grow vegetables and produce organic produce and sell it in the farm shop.
Money will be spent on
Money that is invested will firstly be used to buy land or rent land over a 3 year period, once land is secure i will ise available funds to buy materials for the farm, pollytunnel’s x 2 a store shed for equipment, a single story eco building that contains space for a small kitchen, a shop and toilets.
Offer for investor
Investors investing in me will be offerd regular vegatble boxes (within the local aria/ availability of delivery) opportunity to visit the site, learn more about organic growing, sustainability, environmentally friendly ways of doing things and to learn to become a bit more self sufficient. Once the kitchen is upand running there will also be produce sold from the kitchen all
Of which would be harvested direct from the farm for example, chutneys, jams, pickles and all the other goodies you would expect from a thriving farm and shop
