Idea

Ubadi is a financial services company that helps families build essential financial habits through saving and tracking expenses.

Current Status

We currently have a waitlist community of 200 individuals including parents and teenagers in Ghana. We are very close to closing an MFI license partnership deal and we have over 10,000+ impressions on social media.

Problem or Opportunity

Adults who lack early exposure to good saving and budgeting habits have bad financial experiences when planning family finances.

Solution (product or service)

We are building a financial service that helps families build essential financial habits through saving and tracking expenses. Our product allows every member of a family including teenagers and kids build good financial habits.

Business model

We have four revenue streams;

1. a $1 monthly subscription fee for a parent account which gives users access to automatic expense tracking and adds almost 5 dependent accounts.

2. We charge a percentage on spending done directly from an Ubadi account

3. We will have assets under management where we will invest a portion of the funds in our accounts to get interest on them.

4. Lastly, when we close our deal with VISA we will earn a percentage on transactions completed with out VISA cards.
