We develop an innovative playful digital learning platform for pre-schoolers which allows a personalized learning approach for each child (adaptive learning), based on AI/machine learning techniques.
Our app was released in German for iOS devices Oct 2021, and on Android devices in March 2022. In May 2022 we added the English version. As well, in a record time we added the Ukrainian & Russian versions, to help the refugee children to learn German or English and were recommended by the Government of Canton Zurich to the obligatory schools for these purposes. Today we already surpassed the mark of 45’000 active users in German Speaking countries, the UK & Nordics.
Problem or Opportunity
Today, European pre-schoolers have less access to quality learning content than Asian or American kids. In some areas (e.g. languages, music, math) it is almost impossible to catch up and develop the full talent potential later at school. As of today, there is no coherent and systematic digital education offer for pre-schoolers in Europe while there is a growing need for early childhood education to prepare young children better for primary school and acquire the skills and social competences they need for an inclusive, progressive, sustainable life in the modern digital world.
Solution (product or service)
Our learning platform is an innovative edutainment app for pre-schoolers. The app is fully interactive, it combines traditional & innovative learning content by story-telling, gamification, adaptive learning, and a parent dashboard that monitors the child’s learning progress. We force the awakening the intellectual capacities of a child as early as possible and improve specific cognitive abilities the child has yet to master. The application interface features a cat who accompanies the child throughout the coursework, guiding through funny lessons that feel more like playing than studying.
Currently we are implementing a freemium model where the first 100 activities will be offered for free as from July 2022; to unlock the next set of lessons the user must pay 5 EUR. As we progress with the production of lessons, we will implement a subscription model with the monthly payments of EUR 9, where the first month is offered for free.
