Idea

Our product is an innovative micro-turbine utilized for distributed generation of hydroelectricity from the water streams (canals/rivers).

Current Status

We have designed, built, and tested our turbine prototype operationally, and have presented it publicly at the 11th International Renewable Energy Fair in Tehran, Iran (Feb. 2019). We have also applied for a patent in the PCT national phase in the US, UK, Canada, and Iran. Additionally, “Solar Impulse Efficient Solution Label“ has been awarded by Solar Impulse Foundation to our product.

Market

Our main customers are electricity suppliers, local power distributors, and especially individual consumers in remote areas having a water stream who have no access to any local electrical network.

Problem or Opportunity

The problem we have solved is to provide electricity for remote areas having a water stream (canal/river) that haven’t access to any local electrical network. This will be done by generating electricity from the water stream due to water kinetic energy conversion into electricity.

Solution (product or service)

We are going to build a working model of our turbine designed for an appropriate water stream. Our product will be offered to individual consumers in remote areas having a water stream for generating electricity by kinetic energy extraction of the water stream and converting it into electricity.

Competitors

Our major competitors are solar and wind power suppliers, and especially the pressurized turbine manufacturers whose products are mostly installed on the water pipelines.

Advantages or differentiators

The unique advantages of our innovative technology are low-cost, steady-state, high efficiency, durability, and reliability that makes it fully competitive.

Finance

Our revenue stream depends on our business model directly and will be determined later.

Business model

According to our business model, this product could be offered to the market directly or through an EPC project execution (B2B/B2C). Alternatively, we could sell the generated electricity by our erected plants to customers in the future (B2C).

Money will be spent on

The money will be used for establishing the business, including the cost for
administration, management, R&D, fabrication, erection, promotion, and marketing.
