Idea

TUITIONERA is a global C2C connection platform for tuition providers and seekers for online and in-person learning. We have two types of tuition advertisement services:
1. Online tuition system where the tutor teaches the student in an online interactive session.
2. In-Person Tuition system where the tutor teaches the student in a physical one-to-one class style.

Current Status

1. The company has its fully functional website and its associated Android application up and running.

2. The company has over 5000 registered tutors and students. Also, we have successfully connected 200 plus students with competent tutors.

3. The company has robust payment systems in place that are fully functional, both internationally (Stripe, PayPal, Wise) and Locally
(EasyPaisa)

4. Branded SMS sending contract with JAZZ and Email Marketing Contract with Sendinblue

Market

We are targeting tutors, coaches, professionals and students ages between15 to 60 to connect on Tuitionera's platform. Initially, we target Pakistan (35 million customers) having potential customers , they are young, educated and willing to provide their services so we have successfully registered 5000 plus students and tutors as well.

Then, we plan to target India (444 million customers) and China (864 million customers).

We offer profit sharing 80% and 20% to tutors and tuitionera's services charges respectively. Following same model , we can reach break even point within 4 months by focusing more on marketing globally.


Problem or Opportunity

TUITIONERA has two types of tuition advertisement services:

1. Online tuition system where the tutor teaches the student in an online interactive session. In recent COIVD-19 situation, whole world connected to online systems to provide or seek tuition services online and it sets the trend of learning online.

Issue Addressed: Due to lack of trust being online, most students and tutors hesitate to commit into a learning activity.

2. In-Person Tuition system where the tutor teaches the student in a physical one-to-one class style. Tuitionera reduces all unnecessary costs to the tutors and hence minimizing travel time

Issue Addressed: Local tutor academies charge tutors exorbitant registration, subscription fees, and also keep a huge share in their overall income.

Solution (product or service)

1. Online Tuition System:
TUITIONERA plays the role of the middleman between the tutor and the student to ensure trust so that the tutor teaches what the student pays for by collecting the fee from the student at the start of the session and then paying the tutor after the successful fulfillment of the teaching commitments. Our company keeps 20% of the earnings of the tutor.

2. In-Person Tuition System:
Our company provides tutor an advertisement slot for CAD 5 per Ad (internationally) or 300 PKR (for Pakistani tutors only). Our company facilitates direct communication between students and tutors without charging the tutors registration or subscription fees or any share in their overall incomes. The payment is done directly between the student and the tutor without the involvement of our company. Our Google map powered tutor-student connection platform serves tutors in every locality worldwide.

We want to go global, market it and expand our services outside Pakistan where we can connect more students and tutors internationally.
For the next five (5) years , we plan to achieve the target of USD 0.7 million sales revenues.

Risks

We can foresee following risks in our system.

1. Direct connection between students and tutors after connecting first time.
2. Tutors are maintaining quality teaching and not following proper course as per students' requirements
3. Money transfer charges (Tuition income of tutors) for sending money to tutors may increase and banned.

Incubation/Acceleration programs accomplishment

We have successfully incubated at NEP of NIC Karachi Pakistan.
It stared in August 2021 and will end after 6 months
