Idea

Our team is building our own social App to connect people who have similar dreams from sleep and the subconscious world in a fun and interactive way. It will become the next young and hip social media App for Gen Z to express their inner self and personality.

Current Status

We started this project in March 2021, registered as official company in April 2021. And by the end of May 2021, we already have a MVP developed and going through App Store reviewing process now.
We also have our second version of a more delicated UI designed out from a talented UI designer.
Our team is formed with talents from all perspects: Tech professional, Marketing and Strateg professional and Design professional.

Problem or Opportunity

People have the need to capture their valuable and interesting ideas and inspiration in dreams. Tell me if you had the time that had the weird dream during the night, and you feel so excited to tell other people in the morning.
Gen Z and future generations care more and more about being authentic and showing their most real, creative and unique inner self. But Instagram and other apps on the market currently, are either promoting inauthentic and unachievable lives and goals, or connecting people for dating purposes. We need a social platform to connect only based on the interesting and real aspects of the soul.

Our unique angle and starting point is using dreams to discover one’s most inner world, meaning the subconscious and connecting over dreams.

We start with dreams to give users fun topics to write about. User can record their dreams in text, voice message, voice typing and drawing. We let the users interpret and share their dreams. We want to link the dream world to the art world and e-commerce in a systematic way, as well as creative gamify interaction experiences. And finally we want to create a global digital archive of the collective subconscious experiences of humans for further studies and marketing opportunities.

Advantages or differentiators

We focus on the social aspect and user community personality with more user friendly and creative interactions.

Three categories of competitor: The first category is tool app to record dreams on the app, such as Capture and Lucidity. They only provide recording functions, while we provide recording and social functions. We also provide the function of visualizing dreams with doodling and small drawings.
The second categories is journaling app, such as Refelctly and Notion. Those are the apps to track down journals or tasks. Our advantage is to attracting a group of users have unique ideas and sensation of inner self exploration.
The third category is that instagram and tiktok. Gen Z and future generations care more and more about being authentic and showing their most real, creative and unique inner self. But Instagram and other apps on the market currently, are either promoting inauthentic and unachievable lives and goals, or connecting people for dating purposes. We need a social platform to connect only based on the interesting and real aspects of the soul.
There is one similar app to combine dreams and social function in Chinese market, called "Amazing Dream", gained 540K users in 4 months. We believe if we can have the same success if we bring this to US and EU market.

Finance

Revenue will be generated from 5 aspects.
1, Platform commissions on professional service transactions like personal dream interpretations, psychic, fortune teller, and healing advice services.

2, We are introducing a Freemium Model with premium features in Paid Subscription and also Advertising revenue will start coming in with good user traction and higher brand awareness in the market.

3, We have a function to visualize people's dream. User can shared the dream art on our platform for free, but if users want to download the dream art, needs to pay to the professional artists for a fee. We as a platform will have a commissions on this as well.

4, Commodity recommentation on people's dream data: If you dreamt about eating cake a night before, will you have higher chance to purchase a cake in the second day?

5, We will be getting platform commissions on artwork NFT sales in 5 years plan.

Cost will only be spent on the people force for the development of the App and marketing to generate new users.

We are initially targeting to reach 100K users in US and 20K users in UK&CA, by the end of 2022. Our growth is led by marketing intensive efforts through social media presence, ads, ASO, SEO, PR and viral. Then we go on to partnerships. And 2023 onwards internationalization begins with the English speaking world first, and continues with the top languages of the remaining global population.
