Our smart sensor is embedded in a body patch and it continuously measures the human body temperature.
Applications for this sensor patches are ovulation detection (see https://www.femsense.com) or general temperature measurement (see https://www.steadytemp.info)
Current Status
Our first product, femSense, gained massive traction in central Europe, achieving over €300k in sales last year (2020) and helping over 10k women get pregnant.

femSense: ww SAM for planning a pregnancy: 2 b€ ww SAM for fertility awareness: 12 b€ ww TAM for contraception: >160 b€
SteadyTemp ww SAM high income countries: 2 b€
Problem or Opportunity
Beside the support for getting pregnant - 15% of all women have difficulty to get pregnant - there is a strong trend to understand the menstruation cycle and the fertility to use the knowledge as a hormone free method of birth control. femSense is an easy to use and reliable system to display the fertility of a woman.
The second product, SteadyTemp, displays the body temperature curve on a mobile device. The shape and the trend of the fever curve has much more value for doctors who can draw conclusions for their diagnose much better than from a single temperature value.

Competitors
femSense competitors: - Mobile calendar apps like flo, Glow, Natural Cycles, ... - Invasive temperature systems like OvulaRing, Trackle, OvuSense, ...- - Hormone measurement systems like Clearblue, ... - Others like AVA, Yono Labs, iweecare, ...
SteadyTemp competitors: - conventional thermometers with electronic interface - continuous temperature systems like iweecare, Fever Scout, TempTRAQ, ... - invasive thermometers, like bladder catheter
Advantages or differentiators
Advantage ... Compared to cycle tracker apps: - Higher reliability due to continuous measurement - Revenue made with patches rather than data (privacy, no commercials)
Compared to invasive systems: - Comfortable and easy to use - Price
Compared to hormone-based systems: - Continuous measurement - High comfort and easy to use
Compared to other continuous temperature systems - NFC interface ensures data privacy - single use patches ensure high hygienic standard
We sell the sensor patches either directly to the end customer (in case of femSense) or to institutions or partners (in case of SteadyTemp). The required mobile app is free of charge
Money will be spent on
Strengthening EU market position Contraceptive clinical study Market Launch femSense fertility and SteadyTemp Developing team
femSense risks: - little risk for planning pregnancy or fertility awareness beside CAC could become too high - for contraceptive the required clinical study could take longer as planned (later market launch)
SteadyTemp risks: - long design-in cycles in hospital or care center applications
