The Air Battery has the following unique features: • One charge and discharge is called a cycle. The system charges and discharges once a day i.e. one cycle. • The pressure vessels (key components) are tested for more than 30,000 cycles. This relates to more than 30 years in operation. Batteries charge cycle is 3,000 cycles – lifespan of approximately 3-5 years then it must be replaced. • Air Battery is an environmentally friendly product – no harmful by-products, emissions or non-recyclable components compared to batteries and generators • Air Battery has no carbon emissions. • Efficiencies of approximately 74%+ battery efficiency is less than 60% based on operational applications • Air Battery carries a 5-year warranty; there is no warrantee on battery systems. • Air Battery tracks and measures energy usage. On other storage systems tracking is usually an add-on and costs are high. • Air Battery can be wired directly into current electrical infrastructure; other systems require additional technologies i.e. costly inverters and chargers to ensure their operation. • Financial savings over the 30-year life-span, life-span of batteries are less than 5 years.
