The telehealth market in Africa is expected to continue to grow significantly; this growth will be driven by increasing prevalence of chronic diseases, rising geriatric population, and continuous penetration of smartphones and Internet connectivity. As patients continue to demand improved relationships with their healthcare providers and as the demand and need for healthcare guidance and treatment across distance via communication technologies increase, we are poised to be available to support our existing users into that phase.

Solution (product or service)
We offer a premium option for telemedicine services (direct one-on-one online consultation with verified health workers), appointment booking (plus reminders) for physical consultation with specialists and/or for lab investigations and a portal to access curated health services and products at a discount. We also offer online health support groups + disease management tools for individuals (and/or their caregivers) with chronic illnesses on a subscription model.
Wellvis is better because of our ability to enrich the platform with user-generated content, ability to permit users to post questions in anonymity, and our pricing model, which goes from free to freemium, and premium ensuring inclusivity even for low-income mothers and young adolescents who have health issues and cannot afford to pay for a consultation or remotely positioned to access health facilities. These other companies serve solely as a telemedicine platform, why for us, is it only a feature, we are primarily a service demand aggregator serving as a funnel to numerous other healthcare businesses.
