AccessBell is a platform that connects ambitious students, job seekers and those looking to grow their professional network with leading professionals. Especially with COVID-19, so many people need help these days. It eliminates all the friction of scheduling and automatically schedules the meeting with a video call link on your calendar.

Current Status

We built the platform, have hundreds of users, are growing rapidly.

Market

When COVID-19 broke out, internship and job opportunities all over the world vanished and left students scrambling. These students and job seekers are using our platform. Professionals in various industries are also using this to give back.

Problem or Opportunity

LinkedIn has been blowing up with posts of professionals wanting to offer their time and advice as well as students and those that lost jobs due to COVID wanting advice and connection. They are not happening due to the friction involved in finding people and coordinating time and platform to meet. AccessBell solves this.

Solution (product or service)

AccessBell.com is a platform that connects ambitious students, job seekers and those looking to grow their professional network with leading professionals. Especially with COVID-19, so many people need help these days. It eliminates all the friction of scheduling and automatically schedules the meeting with a video call link on your calendar.

Competitors

No direct competition that we know of. LinkedIn is the closest - but they offer a vast range of options that deviate away from the human connection piece.

Advantages or differentiators

We are super lean, move quickly, and built this in just 2 weeks. We have a broad network to grow and come from Google & other large companies. We've both built companies in the past.

Finance

This is free right now and a COVID initiative but we have several future 'freemium' models and revenue options.

Business model

License out an enterprise version as a white label for private groups / universities.

Money will be spent on

Expanding the team (hiring), building up our servers, targeted marketing.

Offer for investor

We are open to investors and are willing to talk equity.

Risks

Not having enough professionals on the platform early on. To mitigate, we have found various lists to post about this and plan to onboard more professionals before marketing this heavily to job seekers and students.
