Local Market Intel is the first company to provide current local market growth data online. We are opening up a whole new category of local market intelligence. With different data, real estate professionals be more effective, help buyers and sellers, AND make more sales/profits.

Current Status

SaaS application and tech is done, we are pivoting to an API strategy. APIs will launch in May/June of 2019

Market

With over 400 beta testers & users, we are now focused on developing 4 API types. Each updated every month/quarter. According to CB Insights, the industry spent over $1.7B last year, just on data. API growth is very fast. Millions of agents with different data, be more helpful. If not, we will, and get referral fees.

Problem or Opportunity

THE PROBLEM OF ACCESS: Everybody knows its location, location, location. But Zillow doesn’t have it, nor do Realtors. To illustrate, if Starbucks, wanted to open 50 stores next wk. - How do they do it? They buy & aggregate expensive monthly data, & build their own proprietary in-house data-mapping system. Costing over $500K to build. Big players have access - investors & Realtors do not. The problem with yearly data is, it’s just not helpful in making an informed decision. It’s not enough. There is a huge Data GAP. Banks do not use ANY yearly data. Why should you?

We have lots of competitors. ONLY Growth Maps delivers the leading indicators - the latest demographics and economics and local forecasts. No competitor offers a web-based product to help professionals make real-time, location-based decisions, based upon the latest local growth and local forecasts. Thus there is a huge opportunity for new products, innovation, and collaboration.

Advantages or differentiators

WHY NO ONE HAS DONE THIS BEFORE: It is very hard to develop, and takes a lot of custom coding. The data is not free, and you cannot pull the data from any vendor or website. It takes a lot of time, many years, and a huge financial investment to build dynamic customizable real-time data-maps, with block group forecasting models. Currently this technology does not exist on the web.

WHY US AND WHO I AM: Bought and sold over 40 properties, and been licensed in 4 states.
Built accurate AVMs or Automatic Valuation Models. Build FVMs or Future Value Models, with an accuracy of ±2% at the City Block level. After many years of testing, I discovered how to build price forecasting models. I’ve tested dozens of data vendors, costing over $500,000 in data, and testing to see which variables has influence on future prices and risk, to get our accuracy of ±2%.

Finance
