Idea

Strive Learning closes African college graduate founder business skill gaps driving startup failure equipping them to build smarter thriving companies.

Current Status

SOLVE business learning solution is at MVP development stage. The solution has been presented to three Nigerian higher education regulatory authorities for assessment and the validation for Nigeria and African target market. The early feedback from target corporate business and government sponsors, SOLVE is gaining traction. The virtual learning series will commence in May, 2022 targeting the undergraduate students, jobless graduates, and early-stage Startup founders.

Market

Strive business learning solution targets Africa's e-business learning market of higher education institutions 17.6 million undergraduate students and 35 Million unemployed/underemployed graduates valued at $2.2 Billion as at 2020 and projected to grow at 115% CAGR to $3.3 Billion in 5 years to 2026. The African undergraduate students consists of 18 - 35 years age bracket who own smart phones and have social media accounts. The private corporate businesses and government millennium development agencies funding the unemployed youth entrepreneurship skills training constitute the secondary target market.

Problem or Opportunity

The ineffectiveness of undergraduate Skills Acquisition curriculum in delivering substantial Startup success and jobs to eliminate youth unemployment in Africa motivated me to solve the problem.
The undergraduate technical and vocational skills acquisition is designed for self-employment against business skills which drive business success and jobs creation. This is the reason for failure of 90+5% of Startups in Africa.
The failure of Startups increases youth unemployment and poverty affecting over 60 million youth which represents a loss in GDP estimated at over $60 Billion to African economy.
Strive Learning closes the graduate founder business skill gaps by providing smart business skills learning that prepare them to build and scale successful Startups creating jobs.
African governments and corporate businesses are funding youth business skills training to drive youth small business creation and employment
