Our target market is basically every one (organizations and individual as well as anyone who has a cause to buy or sell a property. In other words, our target market is the whole of the Lagos state and below is a list of the people and organizations that we have plans to do business with;

• Land Owners
• Apartment Owners
• Individual who has the cause to buy, lease or rent apartment
• Corporate organization who has the cause to buy or lease apartment or land.

One of the problems facing Nigeria today is the issue of housing. Many are been surge-change because of their inability to locate the right House/property owners or business partner that can afford them the opportunity of having decent housing/properties at the minimum price. At CIL we intend to provide housing solutions that cater for all class of consumers.

The real estate industry is highly fragmented, with a large number of potential rivals. Our most serious competitors are Landwey Investment Limited and LANDMARK CORPORATE REALTY LIMITED.
Landwey Investment Limited is an established company that has been in operation for the past few years, with a fine track record of quality service.
It currently employees twelve agents and has long-term contracts with various home building companies. This company is slightly larger than Compeer Investment Limited (CIL) in size and market capitalization.
Landmark Corporate Realty Limited is one of the largest and best-known real estate firms in the country. It has hundreds of agents and very deep pockets that can be used to counter any sort of competitive move.

Clients usually deal with real estate companies based on their reputation of professionalism and quality of services rendered in the past. This reputation is difficult to obtain by new firms unless its personnel bring it with them from previous companies, such as ours. Price and scope are also important reasons for acceptance, especially if the company is small.

We are expecting to be able to sell 24 units of land, 12 unit of housing properties and also rent out at least 20 housing unit in our first year. Our basic unit price per land on the mainland is N600,000.00, while on the Island is N5,000,000.00.
We are assuming we will sell 2 units each of land on mainland/Island each month and also sell 1 unit of properties each month. Those assumptions suggest an average sale of N46,300.000.00 for both house and land. We expect the first four months of operations to be slower.
We also plan to rent out 2 apartments each month with a constant up-front subscription fee of N10,000.00. The average subscription per year is estimated to be 20 clients. While the property leasing may not be the primary focus of our business, we are assuming minimum of N300,000.00 from each client per year.
Using these assumptions, we are projecting N1.7B in revenue in year 1 and N18.4B in revenue in year 2.

Since our firm is new, our biggest initial risk is low adoption: prospective customers may not immediately understand the benefits of our offering. We need to succeed in educating the market on the benefits of real estate investment and impact of owning a home. All of our marketing activities have been angled to this end.
