Munchron offers the ability to use your phone or PC to scan your body for certain skin diseases and illnesses.
Current Status
Currently, we have a working Android App that offers Cavity and Abscess detection and from our web scanner, we offer the ability to scan for skin disease and illnesses such as Acne, Herpes, Melanoma, etc.
Problem or Opportunity
Currently today, in the age of COVID-19, telemedicine is becoming more popular, and being able to have the staff to check patients, as usual, is becoming not as feasible. With our App/API, we permit the physician to order a scan from the patient using our product to help with determining a possible issue and speeding up the process.
Additionally, sometimes people are embarrassed or underinsured and won't go see a doctor unless they feel or are having a life-threatening emergency. Munchron gives a little boost to the patient if our tools do detect a possible issue and will encourage an office visit or submission of findings to a doctor.
Solution (product or service)
Our product has the opportunity to be accessed at the fingertips of consumers and also medical professionals. Using our tool and the API integration, hardware creators, medical website owners (e.g. WebMD), and telemedicine providers can permit patients to scan and receive immediately possible detection or submit the findings to the physician for a diagnosis.
Competitors
As of now, we do not have an existing competitor for the product we're offering and will continue to innovate to ensure we won't have true competition with our superior product.
Advantages or differentiators
Our tool permits and helps detections of potential threats and puts this power into the hands of patients but also to assist physicians.
Business model
We have several opportunities. We have a subscription and pay-as-you-go product, this is both for consumers and integrators (e.g. Pharmaceutical companies).
Money will be spent on
Our funding will need to go directly to building iOS and a better Android App. These are mandatory to give a simpler implementation to physician offices and also consumers who have subscriptions to scan.
Secondly, we will need an individual (mainly sales background) to help make contact with those in the medical industry to make appointments for demos, and ultimately help break through and make a successful contract to offer our product.
We'll also need to invest further on purchasing legitimate photos of doctor-diagnosed diseases and illnesses to further model development.
We've invented a Raspberry Pi Distro to offer USB Flexible camera to be attached to perform scans and also the ability to store or access records in the future with HIPPA compliant products/services.
