I have 30 years of experience in SME finance in Japan & 20 emerging economies such as Cambodia, China, Chile, Cuba, Egypt, Estonia, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Taiwan, Tanzania, Thailand, UAE, Uganda, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

Currently, as an angel investor &/or strategic advisor, I have 8 portfolio fintech startups in London, New York, Paris, Dubai, and Singapore, while playing a role as a partner & accredited business angel at REDangels, a Portugal-based angel investors’ group, and COREangels Pacific based in Chile. I'm also an advisory board member at Fincog, an Amsterdam-based fintech consulting firm.

My vision is to enhance an ultimately user-friendly SME banking system described as “Ambient Banking” backed by AI, analytics, blockchain, cloud, API, & ethical bankers.
