Menda-Health Box and Menda Telehealth

Making Universal Health Coverage a reality for underserved communities in Sub-Saharan African can easily be achieved with digital health interventions. However, without relevant diagnostic devices and qualified services of Community Health Workers (CHWs), Universal Health Coverage will remain a dream.
The idea behind Menda-Health Box is to curate a set of fit-for-purpose diagnostic devices that can be used by CHWs to monitor relevant diseases. Selection of devices will be done following an evidence-based implementation strategy.
Menda Telehealth will provide a platform for telemedicine.

Poor health care access and limited qualified health workforce have both health and economic impact on rural communities.

Community health workers have very little information with which to inform their care of patients.

Digitalization in the health sector is promising, however, there are challenges and barriers to be taken care of, in order to profit from the potential of digital technologies.

Menda Health System (MendaHealthBox ® and MendaTeleHealth®) has as the main objective, leveraging technology to provide health service access to all Cameroonians, especially those in the rural areas, and eventually across West and Central African Countries.

Using evidence-based practice and community-depended implementation strategy, Menda Health System will:

MendaTeleHealth®: We shall acquire licenses or partner with well-established digital health service providers.
