Idea or High Level Concept

AgroportEx.Bio is a MobileApp for searching organic products on world markets and direct contacts of producers. It is a niche marketplace for B2B market which guarantees direct access for buyers from all over the world to organic producers. Why organics? • Only here producers can be distinguished from intermediaries, • Here you will find everything “from the grain to the sausage”, • And the standard model of procedures between operators allows it easily scale to the markets of any country.

Problem or Opportunity

The main problem that is solved here- is marketing.
All farmers want to sell all their products and as much expensive as they can. And Buyer looking for the reliable suppliers with good quality products and lowest price.

They will be happy if are lucky to find each other and work without intermediaries. By the way, on the domestic market this is completely possible though on the foreign markets - he has another problem – language barrier.

Whereas, she doesn’t have an idea where to find producers and theirs direct contacts. Only every fifth farmer has its own website, but basically none of them guarantee operative communication. Farmers are very rarely checking their mailbox.

Solution

Agroportex.Bio is a tool for direct communications where the buyer could find necessary goods among the proven organic producers using my own language and receive push-notifications with new proposals. And the producers will get the push-notifications with requests only for my products and in my mother language.
Since only the phone is always handy for the farmer and become the source of the most recent information about products, prices and balances -this solution is exclusively for mobile devices. (iOS + Android)

The only thing that producers need are to download their organic certificate after the registration. When it is verified, their products will appear in the list available for sale. They will receive requests concerning only my products and when the deal will be confirmed - direct contacts of Buyers.
The Buyers have the same algorithm; but they add the products of interest to favorites on which they would receive notifications further. Both producer and buyers will form a reputational story of each other by ratings and reviews upon the deal completion

The business model is based on the principle of annual subscription.
- Extended functionality is offered on an additional subscription with the possibility to participate in auctions (unlike other platforms, the commission is charged on the profit from the auction, since the commission from each transaction motivates building further relations between the parties to bypass the platform)
- Commission from the service providers that accompany the transaction (logistics, insurance, legal services, etc.)
- Targeting advertising among platform participants

Competitors and Existing Alternatives

If UBER worked in the market of organic operators, this would be our main competitor. Because foreign platforms are not adapted to the market and even don’t have a mobile version, whereas Ukrainian ones are not adapted to the organics trading. There are no target buyers for them.

Advantages or differentiators

Agroportex.bio is an alternative to traditional Ukrainian bulletin boards and foreign specialized platform. Because the former doesn't guarantee customers traceability of the value chains of organic products and the reliability of sellers, and the latter doesn't adapt to the mental and infrastructural realities of the Ukrainian market (commissions from each sale motivate to build further relationships bypassing sites, and the absence of even a mobile version of the site and notification only by e-mail makes them convenient for permanent use).
