Idea or High Level Concept
Vera is governed AI for dental manufacturers, turning approved PDFs, images and videos into source-grounded product answers. $100K ARR, with a paid U.S. enterprise customer live in production.
Traction and Current Status
Simmer currently generates $100,000 in ARR from a paid Vera deployment with a dental manufacturer operating in the U.S. and Canada. Vera is live in an enterprise environment, demonstrating our ability to sell, integrate and operate governed AI for manufacturers. We also have paid healthcare AI deployments in India supporting approximately 200 doctors. Our current focus is acquiring additional dental-manufacturer customers and building a repeatable enterprise sales and onboarding process.
Problem or Opportunity
Dental manufacturers have valuable product knowledge scattered across manuals, websites, videos, clinical images and internal experts. Dentists, laboratories and dealers struggle to get accurate, manufacturer-approved answers quickly, while sales and support teams repeatedly spend time finding the same information. Simmer solves this problem through Vera, which turns approved product knowledge into accessible, source-grounded answers across customer and internal workflows.
Solution
Simmer’s solution is Vera, a governed AI platform for dental manufacturers. Vera organizes approved manuals, clinical images, videos and enterprise content into one knowledge foundation. It delivers accurate, source-grounded answers through websites, voice and internal workflows, with customer-controlled knowledge, human review and escalation. This helps manufacturers improve access to product expertise while reducing repetitive work for sales and support teams.
Business Model, Chanells, Metrics
Simmer uses a subscription and usage-based business model. Dental manufacturers pay a monthly subscription for Vera, with pricing based on the product portfolio, workflows and services deployed. In India, doctors and hospitals can pay based on usage or choose an annual subscription with a defined usage cap. We may also charge implementation and integration fees, with revenue expanding as customers add users, workflows, product portfolios and locations.
