Idea or High Level Concept

Noah Labs is building Sentinel, the first AI IDE purpose-built for US government and regulated industries, solving the $1.1T+ problem of outdated, AI-inaccessible government codebases.

Traction and Current Status

Noah Labs has secured an additional $50K investment from Yar Ventures at a $20M valuation and is in active discussions with investors including Angular Ventures, a16z, IBM Ventures, Tachles, and Watershed. Commercially, we completed a PoC with Pegasus Airlines, where approximately 10 technical users across data and IT teams evaluated Sentinel. On the government side, we have submitted approximately 10 additional support agreement requests to Lockheed Martin and are in discussions with the U.S. Air Force around a potential direct acquisition opportunity. Sentinel is also preparing for operation

Problem or Opportunity

Highly regulated organizations such as defense, aerospace, financial institutions, and critical infrastructure cannot fully adopt modern AI software development tools because of strict security requirements, air-gapped environments legacy codebases, and compliance constraints. At the same time, maintaining and modernizing millions of lines of legacy software is slow, expensive, and dependent on scarce engineering expertise.

Solution

Noah Labs is building Sentinel, a secure AI-native software engineering and modernization platform designed for regulated and disconnected environments. Sentinel can analyze, modify, modernize, test, review, verify, and document large codebases while operating on-premise or fully air-gapped. Its agentic architecture supports workflows such as legacy code modernization, automated code remediation, software verification, and secure AI-assisted development without requiring source code to leave the customer environment.

Business Model, Chanells, Metrics

Noah Labs operates a B2B enterprise software model. Customers purchase annual Sentinel licenses and deployment packages, with pricing based on the number of users, deployment requirements, infrastructure, and use case. We also generate revenue from paid proof-of-concepts and larger legacy modernization engagements. Our land-and-expand strategy begins with a specific modernization or secure-development use case and expands Sentinel across engineering teams and additional workflows.
